“BeLIEve” kicks off in Luxor Hotel Casino in Las Vegas
One may assume that a dramatic blend of Criss Angel in the company of Cirque du Soleil could be a merger created in heaven, or in in the case of Angel, hell.
If you had the opportunity to be one of the many fanatics who have attended this latest LV event, called Criss Angel BeLIEve featured at the Luxor Hotel, then you may have a unique attitude about this innovative production. This brand new Las Vegas idea is essentially Cirque du Soleil’s sixth show to exhibit on the Las Vegas, Nevada Strip.
The production commences rather comparable to Criss Angel’s routine magic performances, with a touch of “Cirque”. Then unexpectedly a botched illusion stunt transports Criss Angel into a Wizard of Oz-like dreamland. There are even weird rabbits hurrying all over the theater, together with Angel’s usual magic tricks and illusions bonded with Cirque du Soleil’s vivd appeal. The event climaxes with the illusionist more or less shredding himself in half, in all probability the focal point of this production.
One of the concerns, that many enthusiasts have encountered with the event, is the point that the illusionist has frequent spoken pieces in the show. Angel’s acting skills aren’t in reality his area, and this is not usual in any of Cirque du Soleil’s other popular Las Vegas presentations.
All is not lost, though, in this mix of Criss Angel and Cirque. You will see many fabulous feats highlighted in the performance, and mixed with Cirque’s outstanding ability, the show does have its memorable and magnificent moments. The ticket sales do not lie, as this presentation is looking to be one of largest shows that Cirque has had in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Cirque du Soleil which was created in Montreal, Canada combines this innovative proposal to their program of Vegas performances. Cirque du Soleil’s other performances include: “O” at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino Vegas, Zumanity at the Zumanity Theater inside the New York-New York hotel and casino, LOVE at The Mirage Casino Hotel, Ka at the Ka Theater inside the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, and Mystere at the Treasure Island Hotel Casino.
